About Tina M Kinney
Expertise
I can answer questions about NYC neighborhoods, where and what to eat, how to get around on the subway, how to get to and from NYC, what to do, where to shop etc. I can not give recommendations on hotels, however, since I only stayed at a few myself. When I go to NYC, I stay with family!

Experience
I am a native New Yorker. I was born and grew up in Manhattan on the Upper West Side. I love showing NYC to newcomers and understand how the city works. I also understand that a city like NY can be very overwhelming to a newcomer. I am here to make your visit to Manhattan fun and exciting!

Education/Credentials
I have a BA from Binghamton University, NY and a Masters in Public Administration from SUNY Albany.

Question
I'll be traveling to midtown Manhattan this week (May 14-17). Business meetings for two days with major media outlets (NBC, CNN, NYT, etc.); business reception one evening at 21; dinner at Mesa Grill one night; and a day of play -- MOMA!  Hotel is marriott marquis, so I'll be within walking distance of most places.    What to wear?
Thanks!!!

Answer
You can actually wear your business clothes out in the evenings if you want.    Dress is casual in New York City, so jeans is OK (even sneakers even though I don't like to wear these when I go out).  If you go to the more hip places which are choosey about who they let in (especially dance clubs),  I would dress to impress but it doesn't sound like you will be going to these places. Try to wear comfortable shoes no matter what you do, you will do a lot of walking on concrete.
