New York City for Visitors/tourist attraction
Dear Sir and Madam. I intend to visit New-York for sightseeing from Japan in next winter. And I think that I want to enjoy sightseeing. But I have never been to New-York. So I would be very grateful if you could tell me recommended tourist attractions of New-York. By the way, I plan to visit New-York alone. The length of my stay there will be one week. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
So glad to hear that you will have the opportunity to visit New York City. You will love it.
Given that you are a first time visitor, I suggest that you consider buying a New York City Pass Information here: http://www.nyc-visitor-discounts.com/new-york-city-pass.html
) n It will give you the opportunity to visit the top attractions including:
Empire State Building, American Museum of Natural History and Rose Center for Space and the Hayden Planetarium Space Show, Guggenheim Museum or Top of the Rock
Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise or Statue of Liberty. This will keep you very busy. The benefit of this card is that you pay one price and then get entry to all and you will skip the lines and save time.
As a first time visitor, I always recommend that a bus tour is a great way to start your visit. It will give you an overview of the city, make you a little more comfortable with the city, and give you an idea of additional things you may wish to see. You can find details here
In addition, I highly recommend that you go to at least one Broadway show. If you give me an idea of what you like, a musical, a serious play, or whatever, I would be glad to make a recommendation.
