My name is Thien and I am working on a project for my Information Technology class. I was hoping that you might help me. My research question is: “What does it take to become a great basketball player.?” Part of my research involves finding experts on the Internet. I would really appreciate you answering a few questions for me. I will take the information you provide me, compare it with what others have said and with other research findings, make some conclusions about my question, and then create a Web site.
You need to be aware that I may be using any information you provide me on my Web site, but that I will keep your name confidential. My Web site should be published by the middle of June and will be available on our school Web site (www.cmsweb.ca or www.courtenaymiddleschool.com ).

Answer Hello Thien, thank you for asking your questions. Well, let's get right down to seeking some answers for you. First, you asked, "what does it take to become a great basketball player?". Well, there are many elements that make up a great basketball player. But one of the most important things is determination. The drive that a person has to reach their goal can't be underestimated. It's what keeps a person going when and if they reach any obstacles during their quest. Talent is a big part of the make up of a great basketball player, but don't be fooled. Even the greatly talented aren't guaranteed success. Each player needs to keep in shape to be able to withstand the physical grind of the game. Practicing all of the basic skills every day is a must. Dribbling, shooting, running, all should be practiced as much as possible. Keeping your dribbling and shooting skills up, your hand-eye coordination sharp, and your court vision will keep you in the game. And, perhaps most important, you have to have a strong attitude to succeed. You have to know what you can do, what you have to do, and just go out there and do it. You can't let other people dictate your attitude. Keep it strong, and don't let yourself get down on your skills.
