Subject: visiting niagara falls and canada in one day

Question
My family and I will be visiting Niagara Falls and would also like to see some attractions in Canada (Toronto). How far is Toronto from US side and how far is it from Canada side of falls?  Also do you think you can visit the falls and Canada in one day? Is Toronto the closest Canada city with attractions? Can you recommend cities in Canada to see, close to Niagara Falls.

Answer
Thank you for your query to AllExperts.com.

The City of Niagara Falls is at Niagara Falls, obviously, and has a variety of activities for the family, including:

If the group is adults, then there are casinos that may be of interest:

There are winery tours and other activities in the Niagara Region, and Niagara-On-The-Lake:

You are also 45 minutes to Hamilton (pop. 500,000):

And Canada's largest city, Toronto, is 90 minutes from Niagara Falls/U.S. border.  Toronto, with a city proper population of 2.6 million (Metro 5.5 million).  Obviously, by virtue of its size alone, but also its status as the Capital of Ontario and the largest city in the country, there is a tremendous amount to see and do.  You will find some information at:
