Nirvana - Murder Case

Expert: Jennifer Hollman - 12/23/2004

Question
Thanks for the quick response! I have previously sussed out those sites and found them very convincing. Another thing I meant to ask was is there any chance of a murder trial opening for Kurt? If yes, what needs to be done for this to happen? Surely if all the police have seen Tom Grants' evidence it would arouse suspicion in them.

Answer
Hello Again Jenna!

There is literally little to no chance of a trial happening.
Since 94' fans across the globe have petitioned the courts, and written the Seattle Police Department sadly, to no avail. The fact is that only an immediate family member can asked the case be reopened and investigated. When  Ian and Max's last book came out (in april) they were granting interviews all over the TV, to make the information known and still nothing has come of it.

The worst part is that the gun, and the letter have both been demolished, somehow Courtney managed to windle the gun used to kill him back into her hands nearly a month after his death and was given to a anti-gun group (the name slips my mind) and was melted down. How evidence like that was not saved as it should of been is beyond everyones thoughts. But without that major piece there isnt much left to go on. The police report and investigation was shotty and its my personal opinion that the "right" people were paid.

Courtney is currently writing a book, in which she says will reveal some "dirty" secrets about her and Kurt, to help her get out of debt; as much as I desipse that womean it might be an interesting read.

As for the trial, Most of the collective NIRVANA fans, are hoping when Frances becomes of age, she will do something to reopen the case of her fathers death; mabye than someone will be brought to justice.

Happy Holidays,
Jennifer Hollman
