Question I am big Pearl Jam Fan, but I love Nirvana too. My question is: What problem did Nirvana or Kurt Cobain have with Pearl Jam and my beloved Eddie Vedder? Please give some quotes or a website where I can find out specifically what their problem was. I know Kurt said, Pearl Jam was riding Nirvana's and the alternative music curtail, but was his particular beef with Pearl Jam? Please be specific.
Answer Hello Prissy Smith,
Kurt, did not have a problem with Eddie, in fact they we're really close friends near the end of his life, and they were also quite similar, both personally and musically.
Kurt had some problems with Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament from Pearl Jam for numerous reasons, but mainly that was noted was problems with their old band Greenriver and Subpop issues from back in the day..
As far specific Quotes and Websites, well that work you will have to do for yourself. It is way to time consuming for me to go through thousands of archived interviews.
