Hello!
I've heard of a movie called: About a son
I'm from Switzerland and this movie has never been in our cinemas! I was just wondering, if you could give me any information about it...?
I was also wondering, if you could tell me anything about his family? are they really irish? Because I'm also half irish and it would make me very proud to know that Kurt had irish relatives!
Do you know his mothers name, before she married?

About A Son is a movie, its currently on tour in selected cinemas in the United States. It has been out for some time now, I belive they are actually just wrapping up the limited showings! I had to drive 13 hours to see the move, and across 3 states because it did not come to my area.

I am not sure of any touring of the movie outside of the States, but hopefully, eventually there will be a DVD release.
Yes, Kurts family really does have Irish roots. His last name Cobain, used to be Colburn if you would like to do some reasearch, but when the Irish Immigrants came to the States our last names were normally changed. Kurts mothers maiden name is O'Conner. Wendy O'Conner. Hope all of this information has helped you.
