Question
I BOUT IT WITH 136,000 MILES. FROM THE DEALER AND WANNA TO KNOE .
HOW CAN I KNOE WHEN IS TIME TO CHANGE MY TIMMING BELT ON IT. CAUSE
A FRIEND OF MIND TELL ME THAT IS GOOD TO CHANGE IT RIGHT AWAY AND
AT THE SAME TIME TO CHANGE THE WATER PUMP. CAUSE IF I DONT DO
THAT. IF THE TIMMING BELT BREAK I COULD MESS UP MY INGINE. SO I WOULD
LOVE TO KNOE HOW CAN I KNOE WHEN IS TIME TO CHANGE MY TIMMING
BELT AND IF IS TRUE THAT IT COULD BREAK AND MESS UP MY INGINE. THE
MILES IT HAS NOW IS 136,000 MILE

Answer
Orland,

Your car has a timing chain and it does not require service at a specific number of miles.  If the waterpump fails it is just a matter of replacement.  You will know if the car has a defective waterpump antifreeze will get in your oil and the car will overheat.  So, just keep an eye on the oil and the temperature.  My 2000 Maxima has 133,000 miles and is still doing well.
