Question my car did not start, It turn well, then I put in Nuetral and mumps gas and it get start, It happened when I leave over night and nex morning I have problem. I change fuel filter and put in tank fuel cleaner but did not help. One friend said may be IAC vale is dirty? once it start then restart is no problem and run fine, Would you please help ASP. Highly appreciate your help Sal

Since yours is a 1996 it is OBDII compliant. Go to Autozone or Checker and get the codes read for free. There should be a code set in the computer. If not, your friend is probably correct in that the idle air control valve is defective. But, it could also be the throttle body is dirty and not letting the car start. Another cuase could be the temperature sensor for the computer. If this is defective the car will not go into cold start mode. If you have not changed the plugs recently, within two years, change them. Email me back and let me know what you find out.
