Nissan Repair - new switch put in for power windows

Expert: Calvin Iwashita - 10/30/2009

Question
A new switch was put in for the power windows and now the key will not unlock doors from the outside in a car that I am looking to buy from a friend.

Answer
Hi Robert -

I did not get the year, amke and mmodel of this car, or if you have power door locks or manual, however >

Looks like one of the wires or linkage came off during the removal and replacement of the window switch. Remove the door panel and re-check these items.

Hope this helps -
