Question
My question is I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima is a 4 door sedan and none of my windows go down when u press the button for the driver window it makes a funny noise it has a new window motor I brung my windows down and none of them wanted to go up i have a button for the gas door to open and the trunk and none works anymore and I had to put a wire to power up the window so i can bring them up now none of them will go down the button to open the gas door don't work and the button to open the trunk don't work either.

Answer
Willie,

Usually the master switch on the drivers door fails.  I have replaced two on my 2000 Maxima SE.  But, since you say other items do not work I would disconnect the master switch and see if the trunk and gas door work.  If so, the master switch is shorted.  If not, you need to check to see if the fuses are good or that a relay has failed that drives them.
