Nissan Repair - Radio in 1988 Nissan 300ZX

Expert: Von Sudderth - 6/13/2005

Question
My radio was working fine until the battery in the car died from not using it.  After replacing the battery, the radio will not work at all.  I've checked the 10A fuse but this was still good.  Any suggestions? The car is a 1988 300ZX Nissan.   Thanks so much.

Answer
There are two fuses that run the radio.  One fuse is for the memory and the other is power.  Also, be sure to check to see that you do not have a theft deterrent radio that has to have a code set to unlock it.  If this is not the case mail me back and I will research it for you.
