Question One mroe question for you:
Is there anything in the federal law for non-profit that states board members and/ or CEO have to be paid? Is it unusual to have a non-profit that is purely for educational purposes with no one on the board being paid?
Answer No such laws. Actually it appears better in the exemption application if the Board members and/or CEO are not receiving any compensation. I don't believe it is unusual to have a non-profit that is purely for educational purposes with no one on the board being paid.
