QUESTION: hi,

I am from turkey. A graduated business school faculty (bachelor degree) and
have 6 years accounting and finance manager as well as 5 years auditing and financial controlling experiences. If I get a job offer from Norway, can I get work permit visa?

ANSWER: Yes, no problem. If you get a job offer, then you get a visa.
It may still take a few months processing, but it will go through.

QUESTION: Thanks so much dear Roy Helge Rasmussen,
Now, I have multiple questions and I would be indebted to you If will
get answers.

One of my brother is already in Norway and he has his own business which is a sole proprietorship. He engages in house building or restoration activities. My other brother has applied for work permit visa as a truck driver specialist for Norway 1 year ago. My brother in Norway offered him job as truck driver specialist. But application has been rejected. One of the rejection reason was that offered job is not deemed necessary for the business. He appeal for rejection of application and this process is still pending.

1- If my brother will offer me a job on accounting and finance, would it be rejected with same reason that i mentioned above? (offered job is not deemed necessary for the business)
2- If I start application procces now that still my other brother's appeal application is pending, would it has any negative effect to my application? and can he make job offer to me as well?
3- If I will get a job-seeking visa for three months and come to Norway,
how do you see whether or not I can find accounting related jobs despite I do not speak Norwegian language? and would I be able to get this type of visa?(job seeker visa)
4-Is it realistic to make job applications on Internet in Turkey and wait for an employer in Norway to offer a job in my profession field?
5- Are there any alternative ways that I can get work permit visa such as if i buy property or be a legal partner of a business in Norway?

Thank you

Answer
1) Financial services are a bit more specialised than truck driving, but hardly something that cannot be done by a unemploye resident. Who knows - but with a previous rejection - it is not looking all that bright.

2) Yes, he can make the offer. But we'd be fools if we said that it would not look suspicious.

3) Very slim

4) Only if you have a REALLY impressive resume. (Like secretary general of the UN kind of impressive)

5) If you have enough money to invest, then everything is possible. But you need at least a million NOK and a good business plan to make that route go through.
