Norway/English spoken employment in Norway

the question I'm asking
are there any jobs
in English spoken in Norway.
if I decide to move there with
my long-term boyfriend, and he's able
to care for me.I need to find employment for
myself..I like working.
are there any resources for american to seek
employment once living in Norway.

Shouldn't be a big problem. Lots of english speakers working here, but it does help to put in som effort to learn the local language.

There are no resources specially for americans though.

If you have an education in a technical field, finding work shouldn't be so difficult. Arts and linguistics is more difficult. Unemployment rate is very low at the moment, only 3%, so I doubt you'll go without work for very long if you really want to do something.

I live in the southern part of norway and can find my way around most of the country. I will answer questions about social life, culture, language and politics to the best of my knowledge. I am not so good at travel tips outside the south-eastern parts, although I will try to answer.

I live here and have been guiding members of my family around when they visit from abroad for years.
