Thanks for being available for questions. My wife and I are considering a cruise to Bermuda out of NYC/NJ(US). We've both cruised before but it was very long ago and are unsure about some things. Is the line that important for a one week cruise to such a short distance? Any suggestions on a line?
The next big question is where on the ship to either book a room or where NOT to? We're value conscious and flexible but don't like to overpay. Any suggestions in that area?

Answer Hi Dave.... Well if its Bermuda you want, then I really think you should consider Celebrity Cruiselines aboard the "Zenith or Horizon" or Royal Caribbeans "Nordic Empress (soon to be renamed "Empress of the Seas"). Personally I think the overall cruise experience on these two cruiselines is much better than that of NCL. Dont get me wrong, but I have more disatisfied clients lately on NCL than I do Celebrity or RCI. Celebrity and RCI in my opinion offers a more elegant cruise experience and also a finer dining/entertainment program not to mention their service !
As for cabin location.... I always suggest mid ship for least motion distress concerns and because of the size of these ships, even the least expensive cabin down on the lower decks will fit the bill and not break the bank !
Keep in mind the in the Nordic Empress, cabins are smaller than that of the Celebrity ships, but for many this is not an issue.
