Nuclear Power/interview questions for english paper

1. How safe are the nuclear reactors in the United States? (ex. terrorist attack, natural disaster)

2. Can reactors explode like a nuclear weapon?

Nuclear reactors in the united states are very safe. They are essentially hardened military targets with 24/7 highly trained security forces. No civilian nuclear accident in the united states has resulted in any deaths due to radiation exposure.

Nuclear reactors cannot explode like a nuclear bomb. They operate on a completely different principle.
