Your answer was a long way around the real answer about the staffing ratio...which is no!!! that is not enough staff. doesn't matter what numbers are put on paper about requirements...its not enough staff. I know, I have been a can for 18 years. Each resident requires different care, some more time consuming than others, especially Hoyer lift residents. It is not fair to the residents that the cna's must always rush through the care they provide because of staffing ratios and the fact that certain things must be done by a certain time of the day. It is very easy for someone sitting behind a desk to say its proper staffing. Get on the unit and do an assignment and then tell all us cna's about proper staffing
