Question
Dear Laurie,

I have chronic sugar craving. Please advise the most effective way to lose it?

Thank you,
Pier

Answer
Dear Pier,

We crave foods that taste good, and it seems the more we eat them the more we want them.
Probably the best thing you could do is to avoid it for a few weeks and you will probably notice that your cravings are reduced.
Substitute something like a fruit when you really want something sweet.
It's nothing physical and your body does not need it.  You get all the sugar your body needs from digesting starchy foods, so it will cause you no harm to eliminate sweets from your diet.
