What type of professional can I talk to to help me make a healthy meal plan taking all my medical conditions into consideration.
Answer Dear Laura,
For many of these conditions, the dietary recommendations will be similar.
Your physician should be affiliated with a local hospital that has dietitians who do outpatient consulting. He will need to write a prescription for your diet order and the dietitian will visit with you to instruct you all about it. It will probably be covered by your health insurance.
