Nutrition & Dieting - detox and eating healthily

Question
HI Lela,

I'd like to seek your advise. My boyfriend is renting a room alone, and always eat his meals outside. He likes to eat oily and fattening food, and love to drink soft drinks i.e. Coca Cola, Pepsi, etc..and he likes to eat ice cream too.

Although he plays tennis 4 days a week for 2 hours, I still feel he should eat more healthy food. And, he never detox too.

I was wondering, what can I do to help him detox and cleanse his colon? I just dont want him to get disease i.e. diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc..

Please help!

Answer
Jessica,
Changing other peoples diet is nearly impossible. If he wants to change, he will, if he doesn't there isn't a thing you can do. The only thing you can try is cooking healthy food and inviting him to try it- I said invite not FORCE! Maybe he will find healthful options he enjoys- but he has to want to do it.

Hope this helps,
Lela Simon
