Nutrition & Dieting/Omega 3

How much omega 3 (EPA and DHA in mg) should a healthy female adult take daily ?

Hi Dorothy,

If you are a healthy adult female and include fatty fish in your diet 2 times weekly, there aren't strong positive reasons to suggest you need to take any additional omega3 supplements.

Fish oil supplements are recommended for numerous health issues (which was quite a surprise to me, since I've only learned about the recommendations for heart health).

Here is an extensive article from a reputable institution with all the reasons and dosage recommendations you could ever want to see!!
