can prune juice aid in losing weight, if so, how much of it should i drink a day?

Answer
Prunes are dried plums which are specially grown for this purpose. Prunes are rich in iron and potassium. They are high in fiber and contain modest amounts of vitamin A, vitamin B3 and vitamin B6:

Dosage is usually very individual. Since there's no big danger in overdosing, take 8oz glass for starters and try to adjust  it so it'd work without any discomfort for your digestion.
