Nutrition & Dieting - Rebound exercise

Expert: Rev. Dr. Abbott - 4/23/2007

Question
Is it true that people can lose 150 calories by doing rebound exercise for 2 minutes? What if I don't do fancy moves on the trampoline but jump up and down instead? Can I lose 150 cal within 2 min?

Answer
Burning 150 calories in 2 minutes? Virtually impossible by anyone - anywhere - anytime.

High impact aerobics, running full speed up stairs, Olympic skiing, etc. - at the very most, in a 130 lb person, would burn less than 30 calories in two minutes.
