Question Is it true that people can lose 150 calories by doing rebound exercise for 2 minutes? What if I don't do fancy moves on the trampoline but jump up and down instead? Can I lose 150 cal within 2 min?
Answer Kate,
I don't know the answer to that for certain but I highly doubt it. It takes running about a mile to burn that many calories. I doubt that 2 minutes of trampoline can accomplish that.
If you have access to a treadmill that calculates calories - try it out. You will enter your weight and the treadmill will calculate calories burned over a given distance for your weight. Get a feeling for the level of exertion required to burn 150 calories and keep that in mind when you are doing other things - like trampolining. Your common sense will usually be close to correct.
