Nutrition & Dieting - weight loss

Expert: Todd Bublitz, RCEP - 8/28/2006

Question
Is there any truth to Dr.Wheeler`s claims that vast amounts of weight can be lost quickly with energy gain and no bad side effects by using his expensive product "Gold Standard Protein Shakes"?

Answer
Pat,

There is no way that this product can honestly claim "vast amounts of weight can be lost quickly with energy gain and no bad side effects".

If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably not true.

It's just a protein shake - like 100 other protein shakes being sold out there.  High proetin diets have been shown to be nutritionally poor and possibly harmful.  A balanced diet is the only way to go (a variety of foods and includes all the food groups).

Buyer beware!

I would highly recommend you try reading the American Heart Association book, "No-Fad Diet".
