Question If the Raiders don't keep Woodson, in the event they don't franchise him or even if they do but can't sign him, what is there secondary going to look like?
Plus, its even possible they could trade Buchanan. To boot, they don't have a great free safety in No Play Ray, and their SS position is in flux.
I'm unclear about the Raiders plans for their secondary of the future, especially given DBs have historically been the pride of the Raiders.
Answer Well, they did franchise Woodson again today, and it's highly doubtful anyone will fork over (2) number 1 picks for his services. I think they'll probably sign a free-agent here or there, and go heavy on DB's in the upcoming draft. I think they realize Buchanon is not a good corner and would deal him in a second if the price was right.
