Oasis - Setup

Question
Just want to know the recent amp setup for Noel and Gem? What kind of effects does he use on the extended solo for Champagne Supernova  on the "There and Then" DVD? The effect he twiddles with at the end of My Generation, that he plays live? Also if he switched the pickups or anything else that is on his Epiphone Sheraton? Thanks!!

Answer
noels recent amp setup is only available from glastonbury, as thats the first oasis gig in over a year, but that was just the typical setup he's used for years, with slight variants now and again - he generally uses two 4x12 marshall cabs, one with a jcm2000 head, and the other with an orange head (not sure of the model), and then his signal is split to an Orange 250watt amp he uses mainly for effected noise (like the tremolo effect on little by little's verses).

Gem changes his amp setup nearly every gig - he generally uses marshall and orange gear similar to noels, but uses a smaller rig.

noels epi sheraton is factory set, no changes at all - he always played the sheraton with the lightest strings (8's), which accounts somewhat for the twangy noise he got out of it. the only thing noel would be likely to change would be the tuners (as his guitar tech jason rhodes has remarked about having to do this on a few of his other epi's).

the sound at the end of my generation is a delay - on a delay pedal if you turn the feedback and effect level to the higest, and delay time to the lowest, then kick it on for a single note, and dont play anything else, you can adjust the now repeating "pulse" to higher and lower sounds by moving the delay time from 0 to 10 and vice versa.

champagne supernova live on the dvd uses a marshall jackhammer (to create a nice crunch sound), probably an ibanez tubescreamer for the overdrive, and a boss dd5 for the echo/delay sound.

hope that helps!
