About Tandi
Expertise
I can answer questions about ovulation, conception, luteal phase problems, infertility, early pregnancy, miscarriage, fertility medications, 1st trimester pregnancy issues, and most other fertility issues. I can also answer questions about premature birth and micro-premature babies. I cannot answer questions about birth control or elective abortions. My knowledge is also limited in regards to other medical conditions, so I may or may not be able to answer questions on how they relate to fertility. Also, I am only familiar with fertility medications used in the United States, so I may not be able to answer your questions about foreign medications.

I received my nursing degree in 2003 from New Mexico State University.

Subject: i was pregnant but i ve my period

Question
my period is always coming on 13 every month. on last 10 june i made blood test and i found the BHCG is 68 so its pregnancy!!!
and also i had lot of pregnancy symptoms, like vomiting and feeling dizzy.
but i got something like period from yeterday and i have blood clots today.
so it was pregnancy or this is miscarriage?!

Answer
Rania,

I am so sorry that you are dealing with this.  A positive pregnancy test followed by bleeding and especially clots can signal a miscarriage.  You need to call your doc right away and have a repeat HCG to make sure the number is going up.  If the pregnancy is healthy and progressing normally, your number should be at least 250 or so.  An ultrasound can also show if there is a viable gestational sac.

Good luck, and I hope the best for you and your baby.
