what do u think about breastfeeding during pregnancy,as i have 10 months old child and i am one month pregnant...so do u think i should continue nursing her or better to wean her...thanks...
Answer Breastfeeding while pregnant is a very common concern amongst mothers and expecting mothers. Research suggests that the uterus is not receptive to hormonal stimulation from oxytocin until around 24 weeks gestation, so it is generally safe to consider nursing until about 20 weeks, even in these situations. You should not have to worry about weaning your infant unless this becomes an issue. Should you develop signs of pre-term labor or have a history of pre-term labor, then you would need to consider weaning. Studies also show that there is not a greater risk of miscarriage amongst women who breastfeed during pregnancy versus those who do not. I hope this information has been helpful to you.
