Question
I am currently 37w pregnant. For the past couple of weeks it has felt like I had a bruise just off to the right side of my stomach. Recently I had a "ripping" feeling that had me double over in pain. Now it hurts all the time, neither baby or I can move without me being in extreme pain. If I move certain ways it will make me double over or feel like it is ripping more. What is wrong? What can I do to feel better?

Answer
This could be a muscle pull, ligament strain, nerve irritation, or another medical issue. See your OBGYN or primary care doctor and get a referral to a PT, Chiropractor, or Orthopedist to get an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.
