ObGyn/Pregnancy issues/Kettle bell exercise

Hi there,

Is kettle bell exercise allowed during first trimester? Like lifting up 10 kg weight. Thanks

If you are an experienced kettle ball exerciser, then you should be able to keep this up until about 20 weeks or so, earlier if your bump "pops out" before then.
Pay strict attention to form. Always engage your core before, during, and after (while putting the kettle down) to protect you joints.
If you haven't started already, start doing basic abdominal compressions (I like then at the top of the workout) to build/maintain core strength.
At about 20 weeks or so, you'll notice that you will have not only less core strength, but also less joint stability. From this point onward select exercises that stabilize the spine in the neutral position.
