ObGyn/Pregnancy issues - Clomid & miscarriage

Expert: Lawrence Jay Rappaport M.D. - 10/31/2004

Question
I'm 29 and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks on 10-21-04. I took Clomid which I believe helped me concieve. Once I start my period is it safe to take Clomid?

Answer
After a miscarriage and once you get a normal period, you certainly can start trying to conceive once again. Use Clomid on cycle day #5,6,7,8, and 9 and then concentrate on intercourse starting on cycle day #14, and then every other day for a few days. Good luck.
