I DID NOT GET MY PERIOD THIS MONTH AND I AM ON A 28 DAY SCHEDULE.MY HUSBAND AND I HAD SEX SEPT. 18 & THE 25.I TOOK 3 PREGNANCY TESTS AND THEY WERE ALL NEGATIVE. DOES THIS MEAN I'M NOT PREGNANT OR IS IT TO EARLY TO TELL? WE ARE TRYING TO GET PREGNANT.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Answer If your last period started on September 6, and you normally have a 28 day cycle (from the first day of your perod until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurs on cycle day #14. You could only become pregnant if you had sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16. If your last period started on September 6, you would have ovulated on September 19 and could have conceived if you had sex on September 18,19,20, or 21. If you did, indeed, become pregnant on one of those days, a pregnancy test will not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missiing your next period. You were due for your next period on October 3. Therefore, if you did not get your period by October 10, take a pregnancy test. Until then, it is too early to tell.
