This is not true. I have had firsthand experience with Provera. It caused me to miscarry. Provera blocks pregnancy hormones. My hormone levels became too low to support the development of the embryo. Provera CAN cause you to miscarry if taken during early pregnancy.

I have been thinking of taking Provera. I am 4 days late on my period. I don't want to have an irregular cycle since I am trying to get pregnant. It's too soon for a pregnancy test. I'm afraid to take provera if it may cause misscariage, but what if it may help prevent it.
