sir,
my wife had given birth to a baby boy on 20th october 2004 by cessarean, she had a slight puss on the wound. discharged hospital after 17 days from the hospital. she was in the hospital 1 month before the due date. she had a placenta down problem at the starting, but later it became alright, then came the sugar problem, more water problem, then water level became correct.  sugar was going controlled. water level became less  and the doctors did cessarean. the baby had 4.4 kg weight at birth. now also the weight of the baby is 4.4 kg. october 20th was the delivery date.

sir, when can we have sex.
when can we have the next baby.
when should we go to see the doctor after discharge from hospital after cessarean.

Hello Akkutan- I would like to know what country you are in- please get back to me. You need to wait until your baby is at least 6 weeks old before resuming intercourse. So,by Dec. 1st it will be physically possible BUT you must also consider the mental and physical health of your wife. She may be overwhelmed with the mental strain of the difficult pregnancy, the delivery and the care of the new baby. Let her be your guide. Now, the next pregnancy. I am a STRONG believer in spacing children a minimun of three years apart. That way, each child gets the undivided attention they deserve.So, start the next pregnancy when this child is 2years and 3 months. Hope that helps- Cheri.
