It reads the endometrial canal is 1.5 cm that was in Dec. 14 days prior to my period. This last sonogram reads 2.34 cm thickness which was 4 days prior to my period they did note that a polyp was suspected.

Thank you very much for your quick response and information. On my u/s it reads prominent endometrial canal. The measurement at that time was 1.5 cm What does the prominent endometrial canal mean?
Answer -
A prominent endometrial canal is merely one that is easily seen on sonographic examination. What, exactly was 1.5cm? Was it your cervix or the thickness of your endometrium?
Answer -
I would just repeat the sonogram after your period.
AnswerDuring your cycle, the endometrium thickens to prepare the uterus to accept implantation of an embryo. Depending on when in your cycle you take the sonogram, the thickness of the endometrium will change. You took both sonograms during the luteal phase of your cycle (between cycle day #14 and 24). If you repeat the sonogram right after your period, when the endometrial wall has sloughed off already, it will be thin. Your measurements appear within normal limits for the time they were taken. Don't worry.
