ObGyn/Pregnancy issues/what can I do?

Question
I'm dialated to 3cm and 70% effaced is there anything that I can eat or any types of exercises I can do to help push myself into labor?

Answer
Your body will go into labor when it is ready. What you eat or if you exercise will not bring on labor. But since you are partially dilated, and more than half way effaced, I would not recommend heavy exercise. If you've been walking for 30 minutes or more throughout your pregnancy, you can continue to walk. If not, then do not start exercising at this time.
