I was researching an term paper for my ergonomic class on back belts the pros and cons of their use and ran across you response to a question from a Home Depot employee.
I see that you have your CSP certificate and was wondering if you have any suggestions for preparation for this cert. I will be finishing up my B.S. degree at Columbia Southern University and wish to start preps for sitting for the ASP portion of the exam.
Thank you for any suggestions that you may have to advise me for prep for the CSP exam.

Answer: Larry, I think that beyond a doubt the best place to start is the BCSP web site:
When you get there take the time to fully explore each and every heading in full. Just about any question you could have should be answered and you can count on the accuracy of the material. They have a large number of publications available that can be viewed and or downloaded. About the only other suggestion I have is that there are a number of preparation classes given by a number of firms. Unless things have changed greatly, there are a few firms that are more concerned about fees than helping. Be sure to check out any organizations you may look to, I would hate to see you get burned. Lastly, I wish you every possible bit of success in your pursuit of the CSP designation. It was a long hard pull through the reviews and exams but I was never sorry that I put forth the time and effort. I hope that 20 years from now you will be able to say the same thing. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.
