Question My mother inlaw wants to know about the mineral rights on her property. Grand Prairie Tx is the location. How important they are, she is trying to sell a house and some people want the mineral rights to it. But she wants to know how to go about making a deal for them in the price of the house.
Answer Sir,
I would first inquire with the realtors around your area to see if they are familiar with the mineral right values in this particular area. If there has been activity with other homeowners selling their homes recently, this should give you an idea.
Once you are able to locate a realtor you can work with, perhaps she can advise you as to a local oil and gas attorney that can advise you further.
