Question
sir
i own mineral rights on land in robertson county texas and a well was drilled last year and was told the normal royalty paid was about $1000 per acre per month, i recieved my first royalty check and it was $55 an employee of the drilling company said the gas keeps falling back though it has been fraced (sp) twice. supposedly the well was going to be a good producer. can this well be made to produce or will it probably be abandoned? i am not knowledgable at all in this field. thanks ronald

Answer
Only time will tell; there are many procedures available to try to increase the well's production rate (in addition to fracturing).  They may try a few more procedures or they may decide to abandon the well, it all depends on the economics ($$$) involved.

Here are some websites related to production enhancement/stimulation services.
