Question My great grandfather had land in New Mexico that was leased by some oil company. My uncle said it was too small an amount that he just handled it all but, my sisters and myself would like to find out what is actually happening with the lease. My uncle is now getting much older and can't remember a lot of things, so I haven't asked him about it and he really doesn't talk to us much since my mother passed away. Is there a way to find out information about the lease. Richard Coke Hopping near Roswell, NM.
Thank you
Answer If you could provide me with the section, township and range of the property, or legal description, I can review the well activity and apprise you of what is going on.
Is it correct that you do not have a copy of the lease? If you had a copy that would be most helpful and you could fax me a copy and it would give me alot of information to work with.
