Question My Mom is 85. She remembers vaguely a song from the late 30s or early 40s which went something like this: "Bibi I oh ,Bidi by Bo, Bidy I bye, Bo Boo.." Not much to go on. Can you help with name, artist and dates?? Thanks-Tal Leverett, Reno, NV
Answer Your Mom has a good memory. The song was a hit around 1940-41. It is called, B-I-Bi and sometimes B-I,Bi. The biggest hit was by the King Sisters, only on the CD Over the Rainbow, not on their other Cds. Also on the CD Will Bradley Orch. featuring Ray Mckinley. Also by Horace Heidt on Hits and More. You won't find it on iTunes but these CDs are on Amazon.
