Question
Song is , I think, from pre-1950- maybe from a Broadway play or musical- sung by a comedian- Title "Every Day is Ladies' Day With Me". Partial lyrics- "Every day is Ladies Day with me... I'm quite at their disposal all the while... My pleasure it is double if they come to me in trouble, 'cause I always find a way to make them smile..."  would you know or could you find the rest??? Thanks.:-)

Answer
Hi Anne,

Victor Herbert wrote that song called "Every Day Is Ladies Day With Me" for the 1906 operetta, "The Red Mill".
I'm sorry that I don't know all the lyrics but here is a link to a site with a free stream of the 1945 revival recording of the song.
You can listen legally for free and transcribe the lyrics as you do so. You can play it as many times as you want and can even download it onto your hard drive.

The address to paste into your URL is:

Make sure to copy the entire address, Anne.

Thanks for asking,

Lou
