Greetings ~

I remember this song!!! I LOVED IT and wish I could hear it again!!

The lyrics posted above are not correct; however, these are (I can hear it in my head as though it were 1964!)

Enjoy! :-)

Here goes:

(Musical Introduction)

I've got a baby sister

and she's learning how to talk;

there are just two words

that she has learned to say:

"Me, too!"

No matter what you ask her,

and no matter what you do,

her vocabulary never seems to change:

"Me, too!"

I hear it in the morning,

and I hear it all day long,

and I even hear it when I'm out at play:

"Me, too!"

She follows me around the house

and plays with all my toys;

and at times I think I'll pack

and run away!

"Me, too!"

I wanna go out.

"Me, too!"

I wanna stay home.

"Me, too!"

I wanna take a rocket to the moon!

"Me, too!"

I wanna chew gum.

"Me, too!"

I wanna play ball.

"Me, too!"

I'm gonna lose my temper pretty soon!

(Giggle) "Me, too!"

Now, I know she's just a baby

and she's learning how to talk --

but the same two words are driving me insane!

"Me, too!"

And, yet I can't stay mad

because I love her very much...

"Me, too! Me, too!"

That's all she says!

"Me, too!"

(Musical Interlude; then, repeat from Bridge to End)

PS: This is the version from the Toot Toot Tootles the Tugboat lp)
