I believe the song you are looking for is "Falling" by LEBLANC AND CARR

I think about winter when I was with her

and the snow was falling down

Warmed by the fire I love being by her

When there's no one else around

and I'm falling, woah, I'm falling

I'm falling in love with you

I think about summer my head was swimming

You wrote my name in the sand

We walked together hoping forever

Please don't let go of my hand

Cause I'm falling, woah, I'm falling

I'm falling in love with you

The fall and the springtime were like in between time

You're here and then you're gone away

Woah, I just wanted to stay

Won't you please, please stay

Cause I'm falling, woah, I'm falling

I'm falling in love with you

In love with you

In love with you

I'm not sure of the name of the song, but I think I know which one you're talking about -- and I don't think it's Gary Moore (who plays more of a bluesy sound). This song that you're thinking of had some nice '70s-ish harmonies in the chorus, ("Because I'm falling/Oh I'm falllllling/Oh I'm falllling/In love with you") and a wah-wah synth/keyboard sound (like the beginning of "If" by Bread). Sorry I can't be of any help -- actually, I did think it was Poco but my searches aren't finding anything -- but I'm pretty sure it's a different song from Gary Moore's

I LOVE that song too! But ITunes doesn't have Leblanc & Carr. Any Idea where to find it to download?

The beautiful song "Falling" was by LeBlanc & Carr in 77/78. Check it out on YouTube and Lenny LeBlanc's bio on Wikpedia. Amazon sells Super Hits of the 70s version 25. That's the only recording I could find. It is definitely worth owning. Sounds more like England Dan and JFC, but Poco had a lot of hits about then too

I've been looking all over for this song as well.  Thank you for the information - Searching the Title of the song wasn't getting us anywhere - So, again - THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Their performance of it is on youtube (though lip-synced, it's still good)

I know what song you're talking about and this is NOT the one.  Not Gary Moore. I have been going crazy all day trying to figure out who this artist is too after hearing it on the Oldie's station this morning!

Nope. It's "Falling" by LeBlanc & Carr, from the Midnight Light album - 1978.

Nah sorry, this is not a Gary Moore song. This is a song from '77 (or about '78?) and I remember this summer of sappy songs very well. I know this song and the melody is in my head but I cannot find it on You Tube. I am a vocalist so if I could I'd sing the chorus but the verses I can only sing with the words.

Hi John, I think I found the song, it is from LaBlank and Caar, 1977 and its calling Fallin...hope this is what your looking for...

Gary Lynn wrote at 2012-03-05 20:26:25
I am also looking for that song, but it is more up-tempo than L&C...fallin' I keep on fallin', in love with you; na na na na na na

Meisterjohnny wrote at 2012-11-03 00:33:50
I think the song u're referring to is Fallin' by Leblanc and Carr.

The melody line falls slowly in that line of the chorus.
