Hello--
Just answered a similar question--I work in a record store. On Hana Ola records there are a few Japanese pop albums that have a similar sound like you hear on MASH. Korean pop songs from the 40s were Japanese-influenced. Try "Modern Songs of Japan," "Club Nisei", "Sayoara Farewell Japan," or "holiday in Japan"
