Question HELLO ED ,
I HAVE A 1993 OLDS CUTLASS AND IF IT SITS FOR A FEW DAYS THERES A LARGE PUDDLE OFF TRANNY FLUID THAT LEAKS OUT IT COULD BE 2 DAY OR A WEAK THEN BOOM IT TAKES A LEAK ANY IDEA WHERE TO START CHECKING AROUND FOR? ALSO THIS ALSO JUST STARTED ALL THE JUICE IN THE BATTERY DRAINS OUT, THAT VERYS TOO COULD BE 1 DAY OR A WEAK THEN BOOMM DEAD . CHANNGED BATTERY TWO WEAKS LATER IT WAS DEAD AGAIIN COULD YOU HELP ?OR IS IT SALVAGE TIME
Answer Tony,
The transmission could be leaking in any number of places. Without me physically going over each spot I cannot give you a definite answer.
If the battery is leaking all of the fluid out and constantly dying with a replacement then you may have a faulty alternator.
To me both of these problems sound minor and shouldn't cost more then a few hundred dollars to have assessed and fixed.
