Question The other day when I went to leave, my car would do nothing when I tried to start it. It's a '79 Olds cutlass cierra. battery cables are clean & tight, fuses are all good, battery has full charge, dash lights & outside lights all working, and it won't even boost off. Any suggestions why this might be happening? Or where or what to try next? thank you so much, karla
Answer Karla ,
Really give your terminal cables a good look over . Check the engine ground as well as the positive that feeds back to the solenoid . On that note you may have a bad starter solenoid.
