Oldsmobile/Buick - Front passenger floor wet after rain

Expert: Ed McKenna - 5/5/2007

Question
The front passenger floor of by Cutlass Ciera '87 (43K miles) gets wet after a rain, even though the window is closed. Any ideas on how I can stop this?

Answer
Kaye,

The water could be coming from any number of spots. Take a look around winshield seal to see if there are any rust spots. This is normally where water would come in. Door weather stripping, window weather stripping or sunroofs can often cause the same result.

Hope this helps , if you have any more questions please feel free to ask. Don't forget to rate my response to you.

Cheers,

Ed McKenna
